COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course provides operators with basic knowledge and awareness when accessing work areas with potential presence of H2S, typical of the Oil & Gas sector (on-shore and off-shore). Its purpose is to enable recognition of hazards, ensure safe behavior, and provide essential elements for managing possible emergencies.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The course is mainly intended for personnel who must access locations where the presence of H2S and SO2 may occur.

Toxic and asphyxiating substances – Chemical-physical properties of H2S; Toxicological properties (TLV tolerable concentrations, lethal concentrations); Accidents and injuries related to hydrogen sulfide; Workplaces and processes where H2S is present (mining environment, open spaces, and confined spaces); H2S detection systems; Respiratory protection equipment; Emergency management; Basic First Aid.
