COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to provide knowledge on EU Directive 2012/18/EU on the prevention of major accidents involving dangerous substances, commonly known as the “Seveso Directive” in reference to the Italian town of Seveso, where in 1976 a serious industrial accident occurred, releasing a toxic cloud containing dioxin.
The Seveso Directive establishes rules and procedures for preventing major accidents that may result from the presence of hazardous substances in industrial plants and for managing emergencies in case of major accidents.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The Seveso III Directive course is aimed at all individuals appointed by clients to perform the role of Safety Coordinator, as well as RSPPs, Employers from all sectors, Managers and Supervisors, RLS, and Workers.
The course is valid under Legislative Decree 81/2008.
