COURSE TITLE
Refresher Course for Fire Safety Officers in Level 3 Activities (Former High-Risk Level)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course aims to provide participants with general principles of occupational health and safety laws in Italy and Europe, with particular focus on fire safety and emergency management. It qualifies participants as FIRE SAFETY OFFICERS for Level 3 activities (formerly High Fire Risk) in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Italian Consolidated Law on Occupational Health and Safety) and Annex III of the Ministry of the Interior Decree of 02.09.2021.

Companies of all sectors, employees, students, employers, professionals, safety consultants, managers, engineers, architects, surveyors, and experts.

THEORETICAL PART (5 hours)
Fire and prevention
Fire protection and procedures to follow
Interim and final tests
PRACTICAL PART (3 hours)
Review of the fire logbook
Instructions on PPE usage
Practical exercises using fire extinguishers, hoses, and hydrants

COURSE DELIVERY METHOD:
The course is conducted entirely IN-PERSON/COACHING (instructor/student) at a company, using training materials downloadable from the Microdesign e-learning platform.
The IN-PERSON module to be used during the course is sent to the student with login credentials for course access.

INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS:
Must hold a high school diploma and meet at least one of the following requirements:

a) Documented experience of at least ninety hours as a fire safety instructor, both theoretical and practical, prior to the entry into force of this decree;

b) Successfully completed a type A theoretical/practical instructor training course provided by the National Fire Brigade, according to Article 26-bis of Legislative Decree 8 March 2006, n. 139, as defined in Annex V of the decree;

c) Listed in the Ministry of the Interior registers according to Article 16, paragraph 4, of Legislative Decree 8 March 2006, n. 139 and successfully completed an instructor training course limited to module 10 of practical exercises;

d) Retired personnel from the National Fire Brigade with at least ten years of service in operational, managerial, or special roles.

IMPORTANT! It is mandatory to follow the program and use the training materials provided by Microdesign, downloadable from the e-learning platform.
